Payments & Billing
Refund Policy
We aim to keep our refund process transparent, fair, and simple for all customers using AI Bank Statement Converter.

1. Refund eligibility
- Refunds are available for first-time purchases only.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the initial payment.
- Eligibility depends on your account usage and document processing activity on the platform.
- Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable.
2. Non-refundable situations
To keep pricing sustainable and fair for all users, we may decline refunds when usage patterns suggest the product was heavily consumed or misused.
- Excessive document or page processing relative to your plan.
- Large export or download activity after purchase.
- Abuse, chargeback patterns, or suspicious usage.
- Repeated refund requests across accounts or purchases.
- Subscription renewal charges (after the initial term).
- Completed high-volume processing where the service delivered substantial value.
If you are unsure whether your case qualifies, contact support—we review edge cases with a troubleshooting-first mindset.
3. Subscription cancellations
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- You can cancel anytime through your billing or account management flow (Paddle customer billing where applicable).
- Canceling stops future charges; it does not always entitle you to a refund for the current period.
- Access usually remains active until the end of the paid billing period unless we state otherwise.
4. Technical issues & support
We take a support-first approach. If you hit persistent extraction failures, corrupted exports, unexpected formatting, or a major service disruption, reach out—we troubleshoot workflow issues before evaluating refund requests.
Many cases are resolved with file-specific guidance, retries, or clarity on supported statement types. For unusual outages, we review timing and impact case by case.
5. Payment processing
Payments are securely processed by Paddle. Paddle may act as Merchant of Record for applicable transactions, which can include calculation and collection of applicable taxes (such as VAT) depending on your location.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible, subject to Paddle’s and your bank’s processing rules.
6. Refund processing time
- Approved refunds often take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
- Banks and card issuers vary—some postings take longer.
- Certain international payment methods may require additional time.
